In large shopping centers with many stores, it is often difficult for customers to quickly and efficiently orientate themselves.nmTo help with this, we have deployed the 3D Wayfinder, a three-dimensional guidance system which makes it easier for customers to find what they are looking for.
INTUITIVE AND DIVERSE RANGE OF SEARCH OPTIONS
With our innovative digital 3D guidance system, customers can quickly and easily obtain an overview of all floors of the center and selectively search for products, shops or points of interest such as toilets, ATMs or the customer information.
The system is installed directly in the entrance area and at the intersections within the center and can also be used on the customer's own smartphone. In the input field, customers can search in predefined categories such as, for example, "shoes" or "cosmetics", but also for specific key words.
FIRST-PERSON VIEW VS. MAP VIEW
In addition to the practical search function, the system also offers the opportunity of being guided from various perspectives. Depending on which form of orientation the customer prefers, the way can be shown with a 3D first-person view or with a 2D map view.
USING A QR CODE ON THE SMARTPHONE
Additionally, the 3D Wayfinder also enables the directions to be loaded on to a smartphone using a QR code. The customer does not, therefore, have to remember the way, but can view it at any time. The system is already installed in nine centers and is used over 4,000 times per month at each. On the basis of this great success, 15 further centers will soon be fitted with the Wayfinder.
